How does it all work?
BucketRace provides competitive scavenger hunts throughout the U.K. and Europe
We run our public event in London on Saturdays every weekend throughout the summer, which makes up our BucketRace season. The BucketRace season has a leaderboard and the seasons winners win a choice of 'Bucket List' prizes.
On select holidays throughout the other months we run special BucketRace's, with BucketList prizes orientated around the theme of the event - For example this years Valentines Day Race winners received a 3 course meal for 2, with a bottle of house wine, at the 'Paternoster Chop House' (First Dates Restaurant).
Our events are perfect for couples, adventurers, travellers and people who are looking to discover more about London, meet new people and socialise in a fun & competitive environment. We also run private events, which are perfect for Hen/Stag do's, birthdays and Team Building. We specialise in scavenger hunts located in London; however, through the marvels of the internet we're able to design and run events in any location globally. Currently we've run events in Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, and Scotland.
During our scavenger hunts, teams race against the clock to complete different tasks and challenges. The tasks and challenges consist of Location tasks, Miscellaneous tasks and (for private events) bespoke tasks. The scavenger hunts last between 2-4 hours, depending on your preference.
Some example challenges are : Obtain a barman/barmaids number, Fit your entire team into a phonebox, Achieve a high score on a video game, Find a British Bulldog, Build a human pyramid.
BucketRace allows like minded people to come together, discover London and compete in a fun and social environment. BucketRace's culture is all about adventure, discovery and trying new things. The concept derives from the notion of a Bucket List, which is defined as 'a number of experiences or achievements that a person hopes to have or accomplish during their lifetime'.
We thought how can we bring like minded people together, while crossing items off their Bucket List, in a competitive, exhilarating and social environment? And thus BucketRace was formed.
