How does it all work?
BucketRace provides competitive scavenger hunts throughout the U.K. and Europe
We run our public event scavenger race in London every Saturday throughout the summer, which makes up our summer season. The BucketRace season has a leaderboard and the season's winners win a choice of 'Bucket List' prizes.
On select holidays we run one-off seasonal BucketRace's, with BucketList prizes orientated around the theme of the event. For example, this year's Valentine's Day race winners received a 3-course meal for 2, with a bottle of house wine, at the 'Paternoster Chop House' (First Dates Restaurant).
During our events, teams race against the clock to complete different tasks and challenges. The tasks and challenges consist of Location tasks, Miscellaneous tasks, and (for private events) Bespoke tasks. The scavenger races last between 2-4 hours, depending on your preference.
Our events are perfect for families, adventurers, couples, travelers and anyone who wants to get off the beaten track, meet new people and socialise in a fun and competitive environment. We also run private events, which are perfect for, Birthdays, Hen/Stag Do's, and Team Building. We specialise in scavenger races located in London; however, through the marvels of the internet, we're able to create and run events in any location around the world. Currently, we've run events in Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, and Scotland.
Some examples of miscellaneous challenges are: Obtain a barman/barmaids number, Fit your entire team into a phonebox, Achieve a high score on a video game, Find a British Bulldog and Build a human pyramid.
The concept derives from the notion of a Bucket List, which is defined as 'a number of experiences or achievements that a person hopes to have or accomplish during their lifetime'. BucketRace brings like-minded people together, to discover London and compete in a fun and social environment. BucketRace's culture is all about adventure, discovery and trying new things.
