Objectives

Andrew contacted us to enquire whether we could provide him and his party with a personalised Scavenger Race, to act as an activity on one of his days away on a Stag Do in Berlin. He also asked if we could provide him with Stag Do / BucketRace tops, with nicknames printed on the back. He wanted the Race to be personalised, competitive, explorative and engross the lads in German culture. The duration of the Race was 3 hours and included tasks such as: Try on a lederhosen, drink a beer from a stein, catch a Bratwurst, link arms under the Brandenburg gate and cycle around the victory column on a beer bicycle.

On the day

We'd already posted the personalised lists to Andrew and spoken on the phone to talk through the instructions and explain how the Race would work on the day. The starting location was Berlin Central Station and the starting time was 4pm. At 15:55, all 3 teams tuned into a group FaceTime video, where we kicked-off their BucketRace. Teams then had 3 hours the complete as many challenges as possible and finish back at BraufactuM Berlin. The scores were calculated in real time through social media, so once the final team had arrived back they all tuned back into our group Facetime and the scores were announced. Finally, we'd arranged for one of the bar staff to handout a trophy, accompanied with a prize for first place. Andrews group also purchased an epic video compilation of their days activities, which was ready for them when they arrived home, allowing them to relive their experience anytime they wanted to.
