A BucketRace scavenger hunt is a team-based outdoor adventure where groups compete to complete challenges, solve clues, and complete photo and video tasks while exploring a London neighbourhood. It's part treasure hunt, part city tour, and part team competition. Each hunt has a unique theme and route designed to showcase the best of the area.

Most of our scavenger hunts last between 2 and 3 hours, depending on the event. Some of our extended or premium experiences can run up to 4 hours. We'll give you all the timing details when you book.

It depends on the hunt! Some of our scavenger hunts use a mobile app to deliver clues and track progress, while others are run by our on-the-ground event hosts with printed materials. We'll let you know exactly what you need before your event.

Yes - our scavenger hunts are active, outdoor events. You can expect to walk between 2 and 5 kilometres depending on the route. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and dressing for the weather. If anyone in your group has mobility concerns, let us know and we can recommend a suitable route.

We can run scavenger hunts for groups from 4 people right up to 300+. For smaller groups, our public events are a great option - you'll be teamed up with other participants. For larger corporate groups, we offer fully private events with dedicated hosts.

Most of our hunts are designed for adults, but many of our events are family-friendly too. We clearly label the audience for each event. If you have children under 16, they'll need to be accompanied by an adult. We also run specific children's and family-oriented hunts.

Absolutely. When you book a private event, you can choose from any of our established routes. If you have a specific area in mind that isn't on our list, get in touch - we may be able to create a bespoke route for your group.

The majority of our scavenger hunts are outdoor events. Some of our premium experiences include indoor elements such as pub stops or indoor challenges. We also offer fully indoor team building activities like our Problem Solving and Quiz events for when the weather won't cooperate.

You can book through our website by visiting the Book Now page and submitting an enquiry. For public events, you can book directly from the event page. For private events, our team will get back to you within 24 hours with availability and a quote.

Pricing depends on the type of event, group size, and any customisations. Our public events typically start from around £25 per person. Private events are quoted individually - get in touch for a bespoke quote. We offer competitive group rates for larger bookings.

Yes! We work with companies of all sizes, from startups to FTSE 100 firms. Corporate packages can include dedicated event hosts, custom branding, bespoke challenges, prize packs, and post-event reports. Contact us for a tailored proposal.

For private bookings, we typically require a deposit to secure your date. The deposit amount and payment terms will be outlined when we send your quote. Public event tickets are paid in full at the time of booking.

For private events, cancellations made more than 14 days before the event date are eligible for a full refund minus the deposit. Cancellations within 14 days may be subject to a fee. We're always happy to reschedule if your plans change. For public events, please refer to the ticket terms at the time of purchase.

Yes - we're flexible. If you need to move your event to a different date, just let us know as soon as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate. Date changes are free of charge when made more than 7 days before the original date.

No problem. We understand that numbers can fluctuate. Let us know your updated headcount at least 48 hours before the event and we'll adjust the pricing accordingly. Significant reductions close to the event date may be subject to minimum charges.

Our scavenger hunts run rain or shine - a bit of London drizzle is all part of the adventure! We recommend bringing a waterproof jacket and umbrella. In the case of extreme weather (storms, flooding, etc.), we'll contact you to reschedule at no extra cost.

Just bring yourself, a fully charged smartphone, comfortable walking shoes, and weather-appropriate clothing. We'll provide everything else you need. For some events, we recommend bringing a portable phone charger.

We don't provide bag storage, so we recommend travelling light. If you're coming from a hotel or office, leave bulky items there. Backpacks and small bags are fine to carry during the hunt.

Yes - we have a range of virtual and remote team building activities for teams who can't be together in person. These include online quiz shows, virtual escape rooms, and remote scavenger hunts that can be played from anywhere.
